{"id":2926,"date":"2018-03-17T19:19:02","date_gmt":"2018-03-17T19:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.macnovel.org.uk\/?p=2926"},"modified":"2018-03-17T19:19:02","modified_gmt":"2018-03-17T19:19:02","slug":"im-still-standing-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.macnovel.org.uk\/?p=2926","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m Still Standing (Up)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having got a taste for going out on stage in front of a rowdy audience of (almost) complete strangers on Kate Smurthwaite&#8217;s City Academy courses, I followed up with another course with renowned stand-up comedy director, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrishead.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chris Head<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This was at the dedicated comedy pub, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.angelcomedy.co.uk\/bill-murray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Bill Murray<\/a>, in Islington &#8212; part of the same management as the famous Camden Head.
